Founded in December 2010 by Stoney Michelli and Uzo Ejikeme, G.Q.A's purpose is to invoke a thought or feeling - be it bold or subtle - every time someone puts on one of its designs .

"I've always dreamed of wearing my own designs for as long as I can remember and now its time to share it with the world," says co-founder Stoney Michelli. " Designing is like breathing to me, my inspirations come from being alive, hearing a phrase, seeing an object, social issues, cartoon characters etc. I like taking ideas, words, colors and images from lots of different sources and bringing them together like Jean-Michel Basquiat and Keith Haring".
