For those of you residing in Los Angeles and its surrounding areas, we encourage you to come support the all masculine female models as they strut down the runwayon Saturday, September 28 at the Metropolitan Nightclub in West Hollywood. Club Skirts Dinah Shore Weekend is thrilled to be participating in this pre-LA Fashion week show as one of the official sponsors and support this production of the "What Is Butch" campaign.
The What is Butch? Movement is focused on educating, liberating and
redirecting misconceptions about this marginalized, yet vibrant
community. Each fashion show they produce highlights these remarkable
individuals by utilizing the universally understood language of fashion.
It is one of the first national traveling fashion show movements to showcase masculine
lesbians, queer, androgynous, and transgender models on the runway. There will be live performances by Mary Lambert, Jen-Jen, and Dra Muzic, as well as an official after-party at Vanity in West Hollywood.
