 To Take Center Stage at Club Skirts Dinah Shore Weekend’s World-Renown Pool Party

Power, pop/punk band and stars of “The Real L Word” Season 3, HUNTER VALENTINE, is confirmed to perform at the upcoming 2014 Club Skirts Dinah Shore Weekend – the largest lesbian event in the world (www.TheDinah.com).

The in-your-face all female rock band is set to take the stage at the Hilton Hotel in Palm Springs, CA, on Saturday, April 5 at 4:00pm during the legendary pool party.

Coming straight out of starring in Season 3 of Showtime's hit reality series The Real L Word, into the release of their third studio album, titled Collide & Conquer, and the nationwide “She’s So Unusual” tour with pop icon Cyndi Lauper, no one can deny the momentum behind rockers HUNTER VALENTINE.                                                                     

Formed when singer/guitarist Kiyomi McCloskey met drummer Laura Petracca in a crowded bar in their hometown of Toronto, the two quickly forged an unbreakable bond that has seen the band rise to success dazzling audiences across the globe and singlehandedly invading our iPods.  

Now with three studio albums under their belt, the band has grown into a veritable powerhouse, performing worldwide on over 200+ sold-out tour stops a year.

 The ladies of Hunter Valentine are everywhere, making headlines nationwide from the cover of Curve Magazine to Huffington Post to Revolver Magazine's Hottest Chicks in Metal issue as well as a live TV appearance on Fox 5 in Las Vegas, A-Sides on The Huffington Post and Time Warner's "SoCal Sound" (entertainment magazine show on Time Warner Cable Channel 101 in Los Angeles), to name a few.

Continuing its intimidating rock fame doing what they know best - promoting their music through heavy touring schedule across the US, Canada, Asia and Europe - the band has solidified their line-up, put down roots in Brooklyn, and grown their fan base steadily around the world. They are currently in the studio working on the recording of new material.

It's clear the band has arrived and is exploding into the mainstream already making a whole lot of noise!  A band that is undeniably best experienced live, Hunter Valentine is guaranteed to make more than a splash at The Dinah and take the Californian desert by storm!

The Dinah 2013 Sunday Pool Party!

The Dinah kept the party going, the surprises coming and Palm Springs rocking until the very last day of the festival!

Sunday kicked things off with the Annual Tea Dance Pool Party at the Hilton hotel with an exclusive live performance by the iconic DIANA KING.

The Reggae/Dancehall legend, who is responsible for chart topping hits like "Shy Guy" and "Say a Little Prayer", gave such a phenomenal performance and an inspiring speech about her coming out a year ago and breaking a major taboo in Jamaican culture, she became our new hero!

The day was also filled with celebrity appearances including Lauren Bedford Russell and Kiyomi Mc Closkey of “The Real L Word”; as well as a preview performance by British pop star Katy Tiz, and a surprise stage appearance by Uh Huh Her.
